About The Brand
Welcome to Coquin de Classe, where luxury meets transformation. We aren’t just a lifestyle brand specializing in sustainable boxer briefs; we’re champions of change, empowering you to shed your old skin, and embrace your genuine edge.
Founders
Carl and Yacine’s friendship started at the French International School in Washington, DC, where two rebellious spirits, from Haitian and Algerian descent, connected. Both come from nations born out of revolution, and that rebellious drive has always defined them. Despite successful careers—Carl in the U.S. Air Force and Yacine in tech sales—both felt confined by the conventional paths they followed. They wanted to break free and create something meaningful. That’s why they founded Coquin de Classe—not just to make underwear, but to represent a mindset. The Coquin ethos is about breaking boundaries, embracing individuality, and owning your journey with style, confidence, and resilience. Coquin de Classe is more than a brand—it’s a statement. Wear it proudly.
Luxury
We believe that true luxury comes from within, so it should fit you, not the other way around. It's about embracing the quirks and nuances that make you who we are, and turning what was once perceived as a hindrance into your greatest asset. Our underwear, adorned with the symbol of a crowned butterfly and inspirational quote within, serves as a reminder and commitment to authentic elegance that starts at your first layer of clothing.

How It's Made
Our commitment to sustainability and innovation is exemplified by our use of modal fabric, derived from beechwood tree pulp in a transformative process that minimizes environmental impact. This natural material not only ensures unparalleled comfort and softness but also reflects our dedication to a more natural future.
Fabric
Modal fabric production begins with harvesting beech trees and breaking them down into a pulp. From this pulp, cellulose is extracted and steeped in a solution to create cellulose xanthate.
Solution
The solution is then forced through a spinneret to form fibers, which are treated in a sulfuric acid bath to produce yarn. This yarn is used to create the soft and durable modal fabric known for its breathability and moisture-wicking properties.
